Manage your Followers

The Manage Followers popup gives you full control over who's following your Simplebooklet — view your current followers, add people from your other booklets, and send messages to keep everyone in the loop.

Available on: Pro and Business plans.

Why Manage Your Followers?

Your followers are your most engaged readers — they've opted in to hear from you. Managing them well means you can grow your audience across booklets, remove people who shouldn't have access, and reach everyone with a single message when something changes.

How to Access the Manage Followers Popup

From the Dashboard:

Click the follower count on any booklet card — this opens the Share tab with the Manage Followers popup already open.

From the Share Tab:

  1. Open a Simplebooklet and click the Share tab.

  1. Scroll to Following under the Manage section.

  1. Click the gear icon to open the popup.

The popup has three tabs:

Current Followers

The first tab shows everyone currently following your Simplebooklet. Click the X next to any follower to remove them — this also removes your booklet from their following page.

You can see followers' names but not their email addresses. You can only contact followers through the notify tool — their email is private to your account and not visible to anyone else.

Add New Followers

The second tab lets you add people who are already following one of your other Simplebooklets to this one.

  1. Select a Simplebooklet from the list on the left to see its current followers.

  1. Check the box next to anyone you'd like to add.

  1. They'll automatically start following this booklet and it will appear on their following page at simplebooklet.com/following.

Notify Your Followers

The third tab lets you send a message to all your followers at once.

  1. Type your message in the text box.

  1. Click Send.

Every follower receives an email with your message and a link back to your Simplebooklet. Your booklet also moves to the top of their following page when you send a notification.

Be thoughtful about how often you notify. Readers who feel over-messaged tend to unfollow. Save notifications for meaningful updates.

How This Supports the Reader's Journey

Managing your followers keeps the Satisfaction stage of the Reader's Journey active. By staying in touch — adding the right people, removing the wrong ones, and sending timely updates — you turn a static audience into an engaged community that keeps coming back.
