Create from Blank

Don't have an existing file to convert? Start from scratch and build your Simplebooklet from the ground up. Starting blank gives you total control — pick your own dimensions, design every page yourself, and stack on text, images, videos, audio, and interactive elements wherever you want them. It's the perfect path when you'd rather create something brand-new than transform an existing document.

Available on all plans.

How to Create a Simplebooklet from Blank

  1. Open your Dashboard.

  1. At the top of the page, click the downward arrow beside the Upload File button.

  1. From the dropdown menu, select Start Blank.

  1. Pick the dimensions you want your Simplebooklet to be:

  • Choose a presetLetter, A4, Tri Fold, Post Card, Landscape, Presentation, Instagram, or Card are all one click away.

  • Or set your own — enter custom dimensions if you have a specific layout in mind, then click Continue.

  1. Give your Simplebooklet a Title.

Your title also shows up in your weblink, so keep it short, clear, and on-brand.

  1. Click Create.

  1. You'll land directly in the Edit Tab, where you can start building. From here, three tabs do the heavy lifting:

  • Edit is where you build your pages — add text, images, videos, and audio, drop in buttons and clickable hotspots, and reorder, add, or remove pages.

  • Design is where you set the look and feel — choose your page-flip animation and sound, apply a preset theme or set a custom background, add your logo, customize the navigation bar, and add calls to action.

  • Record is where you give your Simplebooklet a voice — record narration directly or upload audio for any page.

Each tab has its own dedicated guide if you want to go deeper.

  1. When you're happy with how it looks, click Share in the top right corner to publish and start sending your Simplebooklet out into the world.

What's next?
