How do I turn my Canva design into a Simplebooklet?

Publish any Canva design as a Simplebooklet straight from Canva's Share menu, with no PDF to download or upload. Choose your pages and a page transition, click Publish now, and your design opens in Simplebooklet with its own link and reports on what readers do.

How do I open Simplebooklet in Canva?

1. Open your design in Canva and click Share in the top-right corner.

2. In the Share design menu, click Simplebooklet.

If you don't see Simplebooklet, click See all, then choose Simplebooklet under Design.

The Simplebooklet panel opens on the right, with a preview of your design and three tabs: Publish, Library and Account.

How do I connect my Simplebooklet account?

You only need to do this the first time. Until your accounts are connected, Publish now stays greyed out.

1. In the Simplebooklet panel, click the Account tab, then click Connect.

2. If Canva asks, confirm that Simplebooklet can connect to your Canva account.
3. On the Simplebooklet page that opens, log in or sign up free. You can use Google, Sign in with Microsoft, Use Organization Login (SAML-SSO), or your email and password, then click Connect.

You land back in Canva. The Account tab now shows You are logged in as with your name, and you won't need to connect again.

How do I choose pages and a page transition?

1. In the Publish tab, click the Choose pages dropdown.

2. Tick All pages, or only the pages you want to publish, then click Done.

3. Under Recommended page transitions, click the one you want. Scroll down to More page transitions... for other options.

The preview on the left updates so you can see how your pages will turn for readers.

How do I publish?

1. Click Publish now at the bottom of the panel.

2. When you see Your content has been published!, click Check it out.

What happens after I publish?

Your Simplebooklet opens in Reader Preview, under Here's what your readers will see. Your new link is at the top, with Copy link beside it.

From the panel on the left you can:

• Customize: click Design the look, Edit pages or Record for more hands-on changes.
• Recommended for you: click Review beside Clickable page links to check the links found in your content.
• Troubleshoot: get help if your Simplebooklet doesn't look right.

When you're ready, click Share in the top-right corner to send your link. Your Simplebooklet is also on your Dashboard.

How do I add colors and the other Experts?

The Experts don't run automatically when you publish from Canva. To match your colors, turn on Try color matching under Recommended for you in Reader Preview. The AI recommends; you decide what to keep.

To run the other Experts, such as Logo, Contact Card, Summary or Table of Contents:

1. Click Design the look.
2. At the top of the left-hand toolbar, click Expert.
3. In the Presentation Glow Up panel, tick the Experts you want, then click Run Expert.

You can also click More ways to glow up in Reader Preview to see more suggestions.

Common questions

Why is Publish now greyed out?

Can I publish only some of my pages?

Yes. In the Choose pages dropdown, untick All pages and tick only the pages you want, then click Done.

How do I sign out of Simplebooklet in Canva?

Use the Account tab. Click Logout beside your name. This is helpful on a shared computer.

How do I update my Simplebooklet after I change my Canva design?
