What Happens After You Publish from Canva
What Happens After You Publish from Canva
Your Canva design is now live in Simplebooklet.
After publishing, you'll land in Preview Mode, where you can flip through your publication and make sure everything looks just right.
On the left side of the screen, you'll see the Your Simplebooklet Is Ready panel. Think of it as your launchpad—it gives you quick access to everything you'll want to do next.
AI Powered Glow Up
Want AI to handle the finishing touches?
Click AI Powered Glow Up to launch Simplebooklet's AI Agents. Depending on your plan, they can generate a summary, build a table of contents, improve accessibility, and translate your publication into additional languages—all while you keep working.
Customize
The Customize option opens three areas where you can personalize your publication without changing your original Canva design.
Design
Customize the overall look and feel of your publication, including page flip styles, navigation, branding, backgrounds, and reader controls.
Edit
Add interactive content that sits on top of your Canva design to create a more engaging experience for your readers. This is also where you can rename your booklet.
Record
Add voice narration or face-to-camera videos to individual pages for a more personal reading experience.
Share
When you're ready to publish your work, head to the Share tab.
This is where you'll grab your branded weblink, customize your publication's URL, generate QR codes, embed your publication on a website, export it as a video, or control access with passwords, verified email, lead gates, paywalls, and more.
Back to Your Dashboard
Once you close Preview Mode, everything you've just seen is always available from your Dashboard.
From here, you can jump back into the Design, Edit, Record, and Share tabs at any time. You'll also find the Canva icon, which takes you straight back to your original Canva design whenever you're ready to make updates.
Reports
After you've started sharing your publication, the Reports tab helps you understand how it's performing.
Track opens, page views, time spent reading, traffic sources, and other audience insights to see how readers are engaging with your content.
Preview & Troubleshoot
Need to preview your publication again?
Simply click Preview from your Dashboard to reopen Preview Mode.
If something doesn't look quite right after publishing, you'll also find the Troubleshoot option there. It reconverts your publication and can often resolve issues with imported Canva designs.
