How to share your Simplebooklet

How to share your Simplebooklet

There's no single "right" way to send your Simplebooklet out — it depends on where your readers are and how you want them to find it. The Share Tab covers every channel: a direct link, an email blast, a social post, a website embed, even a Google Business listing. This walkthrough runs through each option so you can pick the one that fits.

Available on all plans.

Before You Share

A quick checklist before you send anything out:

  • Set your Link Visibility — At the top of the Share Tab, choose Public Link (anyone can find it), Link Only (only people with the link), or leave it Paused until you're ready.

  • Update your title, author, and description — Click the pencil icon next to your title. These show up in search results and on social previews.

Once you're set, head to the Share Tab and pick your channel.

The fastest, most flexible way to share. From the Share Tab:

  • Copy — One-click copy your URL. Paste it into a chat, email, doc, or anywhere a link belongs.

  • QR Code — Generate a scannable code for print, signage, or anywhere a clickable link won't work.

  • Shortlink — A condensed version of your URL — perfect for SMS, Twitter, or anywhere character count matters.

Send by Email

Three email options, depending on the polish you're after.

HTML Email

A rich, branded email with your booklet preview built in. Click HTML Email and Simplebooklet generates an email with your cover, description, and link styled to look like a marketing piece. Great for newsletters, announcements, and any send where you want to make an impression.

Email

A clean, link-style email straight to your recipient. Click Email and your default email client opens with the link pre-filled. Best for one-off sends to a colleague, client, or contact.

Mailchimp

If you run your email through Mailchimp, click Mailchimp to drop your Simplebooklet directly into a campaign. Your branded preview comes along with it.

Post on Social Media

Push your Simplebooklet out to whichever platform your audience is on:

  • Facebook — Post to your page or share to a group.

  • LinkedIn — Best for B2B content, case studies, and reports.

  • Twitter — Quick share with your shortlink to save characters.

  • YouTube — Pair with a video walkthrough.

  • Pinterest — Great for visual content like catalogs and lookbooks.

  • Instagram — Drop your link in your bio or stories.

Each platform has its own posting flow, so your Simplebooklet shows up looking the way it should — preview image, title, description all formatted correctly.

For internal team sharing or smaller group sends:

  • Slack — Drop your Simplebooklet straight into a Slack channel or DM. Useful for sharing internal docs, decks, or training material.

  • Teams — Same idea for Microsoft Teams. Send to a channel or chat with full preview support.

Embed on a Webpage

Want your Simplebooklet to live inside your own site instead of opening in a new tab? Pick the option that matches your platform:

  • Code — Generic embed code for any HTML page. Copy, paste into your site's HTML, done.

  • Cover — Embeds just the cover image. Readers click it to open the full booklet — great when you want a clean, lightweight placement.

  • WordPress — Tailored embed for WordPress sites. Includes the steps to drop it into a post or page.

  • WIX — Tailored embed for Wix websites.

  • Shopify — Drop your Simplebooklet into a Shopify product page or content page. Perfect for product catalogs and lookbooks.

  • Squarespace — Tailored embed for Squarespace sites.

Each option opens with a copy-ready snippet and platform-specific instructions.

Add to Google My Business

If you have a Google Business Profile, you can publish your Simplebooklet directly to it. Click Profile, follow the connection flow, and your Simplebooklet shows up right alongside your business listing. Useful for menus, brochures, real estate listings, or anything you want potential customers to see when they look you up.

Choosing the Right Channel

Not sure which option to use? A quick guide:

  • One person or small group — Use Email or Slack.

  • Big email send — Use HTML Email or Mailchimp.

  • Marketing campaign — Post to Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram, then embed on your site.

  • Print or in-person — Use the QR Code so people can scan and read on their phone.

  • Lives on your website — Use one of the Embed options.

  • Drives walk-in or local traffic — Add it to your Google Business Profile.

You're not limited to one — most Simplebooklets get shared in two or three different places at once.
