Let Readers Follow Your Simplebooklet

Turning on Following adds a Follow button to your Simplebooklet's navbar, letting readers opt in to receive updates from you. Once enabled, you can manage your followers directly from the Share tab or your Dashboard.

Available on: All plans.

Why Enable Following?

Every reader who opens your booklet is a potential long-term audience member. Enabling Following gives them an easy way to stay connected — and gives you a direct line to reach them whenever you have something new to share.

How to Enable Following

From the Share Tab:

  1. Open a Simplebooklet from your Dashboard.

  1. Click the Share tab.

  1. Scroll to the Following section under Manage.

  1. Toggle Allow People to Follow on.

  1. Click the gear icon to open the Manage Followers popup and configure your settings.

From the Dashboard:

If your booklet already has followers, you'll see a follower count displayed on the booklet card. Clicking it takes you directly to the Share tab with the Manage Followers popup already open.

Enabling following in either location activates it across both — no need to do it twice.

What Readers See

Once enabled, a Follow button appears in the Contact section of your Simplebooklet's navbar. Readers click it, enter their email, and they're following. If they're already signed into Simplebooklet, it adds your booklet to their following list automatically.

While viewing your booklet, readers can also click the followers icon at the top of the page to see a list of who else is following.

How This Supports the Reader's Journey

Enabling Following is what keeps the Reader's Journey going after the first visit. It's the bridge between a reader who enjoyed your content once and one who keeps coming back — giving you a way to reach them directly every time you have something worth sharing.
