Mark Your Simplebooklet as Adult Content

The Adult Content setting helps you responsibly share booklets that contain mature or age-sensitive material. By flagging your Simplebooklet as restricted, your audience will see a warning message before accessing your content, ensuring they are aware of the nature of the material.

Available on all plans.

How to Mark Your Booklet as Adult Content

  1. Open your Dashboard and scroll to the Simplebooklet you want to mark.

  1. Tap the Share button for that Simplebooklet

  1. Under the Access Control section, toggle on the Adult Content option.

  1. A confirmation will appear. Click the check mark to confirm.

  1. Now, when someone clicks your Simplebooklet link, their browser will display a pop-up warning: “This booklet contains content that may be inappropriate for some users.

  1. Your Adult Content setting is now active, and your Simplebooklet will display with the appropriate content warning before readers can continue.

If you want to further restrict access, consider adding a Password to your Simplebooklet in addition to the adult content warning. This gives you more control over who can view your booklet and ensures that only your intended audience gains access.

How this impacts the Reader’s Journey

Flagging your Simplebooklet as Adult Content supports the Awareness stage by providing a clear warning to your audience. This builds trust and transparency while ensuring viewers understand the nature of the material before proceeding. Adding an optional password can extend this protection, keeping access even more secure while still offering readers a clear path to engage with your content.
