How do I post my Simplebooklet on social media?

You can post your Simplebooklet to Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram from the Share tab. Each platform gets your cover, an animation or a video along with your link, so people scrolling their feed can click straight through to your document experience, and every open shows up in your Reports.

Available on all plans. Video posts (Facebook video teaser and YouTube) use video export, which is available on the Pro, Business and Enterprise plans. See Choosing a Plan.

How do I post my Simplebooklet on social media?

  1. On your Dashboard, click Share on your Simplebooklet. If you're already editing it, click Share in the top-right corner.
  2. Under Get it in front of readers, click Social.
  3. Under Choose where you want to publish, click a platform. Each one works a little differently (see below).

Make sure your Simplebooklet is set to Public Link or Link Only first, so people who click your post can open it.

Facebook

  1. Click Facebook.
  2. Under Pick a style, choose:
    • Cover image: a still of your cover.
    • 3-page GIF: your first pages, animated.
    • Video teaser: a short page-flip video. This opens Video Export, where you create and download the video, then upload it to Facebook yourself.
  3. Edit your post on Facebook and share it.

  1. Click Linkedin. LinkedIn's post editor opens with a link card showing your Simplebooklet's title.
  2. Add your own message, such as why your connections should read it.
  3. Click Post.

X (Twitter)

  1. Click Twitter. X opens with a post that includes your Simplebooklet's title and link.
  2. Edit the post if you like, then post it.

YouTube

  1. Click YouTube. This opens Video Export.
  2. Choose your settings, click Create Video, then download the video from the Download tab.
  3. Upload the video to your YouTube channel, and add your Simplebooklet link to the video description.

Pinterest

  1. Click Pinterest. Pinterest opens with your cover image and your Simplebooklet link. Log in if you're asked to.
  2. Choose a board, or click Create board.
  3. Click Save.

Pinterest's board picker, with an arrow pointing to Save.

Instagram

Instagram doesn't let other apps post for you, so the Post to Instagram window walks you through three steps:

  1. Download your cover image. Click Download Image. To post a video instead, click Create a page flip video.
  2. Copy your caption. The caption starts with your Simplebooklet's title and link. Edit it if you like, then click Copy.
  3. Create your post on Instagram. Click Open Instagram, then create your post with the image and paste your caption.

Links in Instagram captions can't be clicked. Add your Simplebooklet link to your profile bio too, and tell people in your caption to tap the link in your bio.

What should I post with my Simplebooklet?

  • Say who it's for and what they'll get, such as "Our 2026 sponsorship packages are here" or "This week's menu, with prices."
  • Give people a reason to open it now, like a deadline, an event date or something new inside.
  • Use the format that stops the scroll. A GIF or video teaser shows there's more inside than the cover.

Common questions

Can I see how many people opened my Simplebooklet from social media?

Opens from your social posts count in your Reports. To compare platforms, use a separate tracking link for each one. Learn more: How do I manage my Simplebooklet link?

Why does my post show the wrong image or title?

Platforms save a copy of your link preview when it's first shared. If you've changed your cover or title since, the platform may show the old version for a while.

Can readers share my Simplebooklet to social media too?

Yes. You can add social sharing buttons to your Simplebooklet's navbar. Learn more: Set Up Social Media Sharing on your Navbar
