Password Protect your Simplebooklet


The Password Protection feature lets you control exactly who can access your Simplebooklet. By setting unique passwords, you can restrict access, assign usernames to specific passwords, and track usage. This is perfect for sharing sensitive content, premium materials, or internal documents while maintaining control over who can view your booklet.


Available on all plans.


How to Password Protect your Simplebooklet


  1. Open your Dashboard and scroll to the Simplebooklet you want to protect.


  1. Tap the Share button for that Simplebooklet



  1. Under the Access Control section, toggle on the Require Password feature.



  1. A pop-up window will appear where you can:



  • Add a unique password.


You can have more than one unique password on your Simplebooklet.


  • Assign a username to a specific password.


Leave the username field blank if you want the password to apply to everyone.


  1. Click Save to apply the password protection.


Once a password is added, your Simplebooklet will be blocked from access until a valid password is entered.



Managing Passwords


The pop-up window also includes a Manage Passwords section where you can:



  • Click Add More to add additional passwords.


  • Click Password to update existing passwords.


  • View the Eye Icon to track how many times a password has been used.


  • Click Delete to remove password access for specific usernames.


  • Click Remove All to clear all passwords and usernames at once.



Additional Information


We use cookies to manage password sessions, meaning:


  • If you're signed in as the owner, the password won’t be required.


  • Your audience only needs to enter the password once per session.


To test your password protection, open your Simplebooklet in an incognito window.
