Upload a Trifold Brochure

Upload a Trifold Brochure

Turn your trifold PDF into a digital brochure that flips exactly the way it was designed to — panel by panel, just like the physical version.

Available on all plans.

Why Upload Your Trifold to Simplebooklet?

Trifold brochures are built to tell a story that unfolds as you open them. A flat PDF kills that experience — it's static, hard to share, and impossible to track. Simplebooklet recreates the fold animation digitally, preserving the way your content was meant to be revealed, while giving you a single branded link you can share anywhere and analytics to see who's reading it.

How to Upload Your Trifold

  1. Go to your Dashboard and click Upload File.

  1. Select Upload File From Computer.

  1. Choose your trifold PDF from your computer.

  1. Once uploaded, you'll land on the Convert page. Give your booklet a Title — this becomes part of your custom URL. By default we pull it from your file metadata, but you can edit it here.

  1. Under Choose A Page Flip, if your PDF is correctly formatted, the trifold options will appear:

  • Trifold — animates page flips for both the front and back of the brochure.

  • No Fold Back — displays the back of the document as a single flat page.

  1. Click Convert.

| Folds can't be added or changed after upload — make sure your PDF is set up correctly before converting.

  1. Once complete, your Simplebooklet loads in the Preview display. Flip through it, choose a theme, start sharing, or explore the customization tools.

Before You Upload — Get Your PDF Right

The trifold option only appears during upload when your PDF is correctly formatted. Your file must be exactly 2 pages with 3 panels per page — one page for the inside, one for the outside.

If your trifold is split across multiple files, combine them into a single PDF first using a free tool like ilovepdf.com before uploading.

If the trifold option doesn't appear, Simplebooklet will default to a standard layout — and fold options can't be added or changed after upload, so it's worth getting this right before you convert.

Need a template? Canva and Adobe Express both have trifold templates and direct Simplebooklet export built in.

What Readers See

Readers open your trifold from a single branded link and experience it exactly as designed — panels unfolding one at a time, on any device.
