Coming from Canva?
Coming from Canva?
Already a Canva user? You're in a great spot — Simplebooklet was built to be the publishing layer your Canva designs deserve. Instead of exporting a flat PDF or sharing a basic Canva link, you can turn any Canva design into an interactive, page-flipping experience behind a single branded weblink, all without leaving Canva.
Why pair Canva with Simplebooklet
Canva is where your design comes to life. Simplebooklet is where it goes to work. Together they give you:
- A real flipbook feel — Realistic page-turning transitions that recreate the look of a printed brochure, magazine, or trifold.
- A branded weblink — One easy-to-share URL (and matching QR code) instead of a downloadable file.
- Built-in tracking — See who opens it, which pages they spend time on, and what they click.
- Live updates — Edit in Canva, republish, and your existing link updates everywhere — no re-sending, no version chaos.
- Interactive add-ons — Layer videos, voice narration, animations, lead-capture forms, and CTAs on top of your design.
Meet the Canva Publish Intent Integration
The fastest way to bring a Canva design into Simplebooklet is our Canva Publish Intent Integration — it lives right inside Canva's Share menu, so there's nothing extra to install before you start. Available on all plans.
Here's the high-level flow:
- Open your design in Canva and click Share in the top-right corner.
- Select See all, then pick Simplebooklet under the Design section.
- The Publish Intent panel opens on the right side of Canva.
- Preview your pages and choose which ones to publish.
- Pick a page-flip transition that matches your layout — brochure, catalog, trifold, presentation, etc.
- Hit publish. Your design opens in Simplebooklet's Preview Mode, ready to share.
Connecting your Canva and Simplebooklet accounts
The first time you publish, you'll be prompted to connect your Canva and Simplebooklet accounts — a one-time step that gives Canva access to your Simplebooklet library. If the Publish now button is greyed out or your library doesn't appear, that's the cue to connect. After that, every future export is seamless.
Updating or replacing a Canva design later
This is where the Canva + Simplebooklet combo really earns its keep. Because your Simplebooklet library shows up inside Canva once your accounts are connected, you can:
- Update an existing Simplebooklet — Make edits in Canva, run through the Publish Intent flow again, and apply the changes to a Simplebooklet you've already published. Your link, QR code, embeds, stats, and customizations all stay intact.
- Replace a Simplebooklet with a new design — Swap the contents of an existing Simplebooklet with a brand-new Canva design while keeping the same live link and engagement history.
Either way, anyone who already has your link will see the latest version automatically.
Do I need Canva Pro?
Nope. The integration works with both free and paid Canva accounts, so you can get going without any extra Canva subscription.
