My Readers Can't See My Booklet
My Readers Can't See My Booklet
If someone you've shared your Simplebooklet with can't open it, here are the most likely causes.
Your Booklet Is Set to Private or Paused
By default, booklets need to be set to public and active before readers can view them. Check your Share settings to confirm your booklet is live.
- From your Dashboard, click Share on the booklet.
- Make sure your booklet is set to Active and not Paused.
If your booklet is paused, readers will see an error or a blank page when they try to open the link.
Your Free Plan Has Expired
If your free plan has reached its limits or expired, your booklet is automatically paused and readers can no longer access it. Upgrading to a paid plan will restore access.
See Why Was My Free Account Removed? for more details.
The Link Is Outdated
If you've shared an old link, it may no longer be valid — especially if you've changed your sharing settings or republished the booklet. Grab a fresh link from the Share tab and resend it.
The Booklet Is Password Protected
If your booklet has a password, readers need to enter it to gain access. Check your Share settings to confirm whether a password is enabled, and make sure you've shared it with your readers.
Still Having Trouble?
Contact us via the chat icon and send us the link to your booklet along with a description of what your readers are seeing. We'll take a look.
