What Happens When Your Free Plan Ends

If your free plan is coming to an end, here's what to expect. This article explains the timeline, what happens to your booklets, and what your options are at each stage.

The Timeline

Day 180 — Your free plan ends.
Sharing pauses, so your audience can no longer view your booklets. Your content, design, and analytics remain fully intact — nothing is modified or deleted.

Days 181–211 — Your booklets are paused.
This is your 30-day grace period. Your booklets are no longer visible to your audience, but nothing has been deleted. You can upgrade at any point during this window to restore sharing immediately — same booklets, same links, same stats, right where you left off.

Day 211 — Your booklets are permanently removed.
At the end of the 30-day grace period, your booklets and their data are permanently removed. After this point, your booklets and their data can't be recovered.

Good to know
If you upgrade during the 30-day grace period, your existing booklets, links, and analytics are restored immediately. You won't need to upload everything again.

You won't be left guessing. Throughout your free plan lifecycle, we'll send 8 emails at key milestones so you always know what's happening and what your options are.

  • Day 165 — 15 days left. A reminder to upgrade if you want to keep sharing without interruption.
  • Day 177 — 3 days left. A final warning before your plan ends and sharing pauses.
  • Day 180 — Your account is paused. Confirmation that sharing has stopped and your grace period has begun.
  • Day 183 — First pause reminder. A reminder that your booklets are paused and what you can do to restore them.
  • Day 195 — Second pause reminder. A midpoint check-in letting you know your grace period is halfway through.
  • Day 207 — 3 days before permanent deletion. A final warning before your booklets and data are permanently removed.
  • Day 211 — Account permanently deleted. Confirmation that your booklets and data have been removed.

Each email explains where you are in the process and what happens next, so there are no surprises.

FAQ

What do my readers see during the pause?

Anyone who clicks a link to one of your booklets will see a simple page that says the booklet is taking a short break. There's no mention of billing or plans — just a neutral message letting them know it's temporarily unavailable.

Is my content safe during the pause?

Yes. During the 30-day grace period, your content, design, and analytics are fully intact. Nothing is modified or deleted until Day 211.

What if I upgrade during the grace period?

Your booklets are restored immediately. Your links still work, your content is unchanged, and your audience can view them again right away.

Can I recover my booklets after Day 211?

No. Once the 30-day grace period ends, your booklets and their data are permanently removed and can't be recovered. If you start fresh after that point, you'd be starting from scratch.

Do I need to do anything if I've decided not to continue?

No. If you've decided not to continue, there's nothing you need to do. Your booklets will pause, then be permanently removed according to the timeline above.

Will I be notified before my booklets are permanently removed?

Yes. You'll receive emails at key points throughout the process — including a heads-up 3 days before the grace period ends — so the timing is never a surprise.
