How do I embed my Simplebooklet on a SharePoint page?

You can embed your Simplebooklet on a Microsoft SharePoint page, so your team reads it inside SharePoint without opening a new tab. Copy the embed code from the Share tab and paste it into SharePoint's Embed web part, and every open still counts in your Simplebooklet Reports.

How do I get my Simplebooklet ready for SharePoint?


In Design, check the navbar buttons your viewers will see:


  • Make sure Fullscreen is turned on, so viewers can expand the Simplebooklet to fill their screen.
  • If you don't want viewers sharing the Simplebooklet from inside SharePoint, hide the share options.

How do I copy the embed code?


  1. On your Dashboard, click Share on your Simplebooklet. If you're already editing it, click Share in the top-right corner.
  2. Under Get it in front of readers, click Embed.
  3. Under Choose your platform, click Code.



  1. Choose a size and a navigation bar: Candy bar, Minimalist or None.



  1. Click Copy Embed Code.


How do I add it to my SharePoint page?


  1. Go to the SharePoint page where you want your Simplebooklet and click Edit.
  2. Open the Toolbox on the right side of the page.
  3. Click See all web parts, then select or drag the Embed web part onto your page.
  4. Click Edit properties on the web part.
  5. Paste your embed code into the embed code box.



  1. Click Save or Republish.


Your Simplebooklet now appears on your SharePoint page.


How do I change the size?


SharePoint has a Resize to fit the page toggle, but it doesn't always give the result you want. For more control, edit the embed code:


  • Change the height value to make your Simplebooklet taller or shorter on the page.
  • Change the width value the same way if needed.


Tip: Viewers can click the Expand button in the Simplebooklet's navbar to fill their screen, then press Esc to return to SharePoint.



What if my Simplebooklet doesn't show up?


Some organizations' SharePoint settings block simplebooklet.com as an outside content source. If your embed shows an error or a blank space, use your custom Simplebooklet domain in the embed code instead.


  1. In your embed code, find:


src="https://simplebooklet.com/embed.php?...


  1. Replace simplebooklet.com with your custom domain. Leave the ? and everything after it exactly as it is:


src="https://yourcustomdomain.com/embed.php?...


  1. Paste the updated code into the Embed web part and save.

Common questions


Do I need to update SharePoint when I update my Simplebooklet?


No. Use Replace to update your Simplebooklet, and your SharePoint page shows the new version. You only need new embed code to show a different Simplebooklet.


Can I see how many people read my Simplebooklet in SharePoint?


Yes. Opens from SharePoint count toward your Simplebooklet's opens. Click View in Reports at the top of the Share tab to see which pages held readers' attention.


Can I keep my Simplebooklet from being opened outside SharePoint?


Yes. Use Lock to Webpage under Access Controls, so your Simplebooklet only opens on the pages you choose. Learn more: Lock your Simplebooklet to a Webpage
