How do I ask readers to accept cookies?

You can ask readers to accept cookies before they read your Simplebooklet. Turning on cookie consent shows readers a cookie notice they need to accept before your Simplebooklet opens, which helps if your organization's privacy policy asks you to collect consent.


Available on all plans.



  1. On your Dashboard, click Share on your Simplebooklet. If you're already editing it, click Share in the top-right corner.
  2. Under Your link & access, open Access Controls.
  3. Turn on Require Cookie Consent.


Readers now see a cookie notice when they open your Simplebooklet, and they need to accept it before they can read. To remove it, turn off Require Cookie Consent.
