How do I change my Simplebooklet link?

You can change your Simplebooklet's link, or move an existing link from another Simplebooklet onto this one, from the Share tab. A short, clear link is easier to share and remember, and moving an existing link lets you swap in a new Simplebooklet without reprinting QR codes or resending links.

Available on all plans. Using your own domain is available on the Pro, Business and Enterprise plans. See Choosing a Plan.

  1. On your Dashboard, click Share on your Simplebooklet. If you're already editing it, click Share in the top-right corner.
  2. Under Your link & access, click the pencil icon beside your link. Update Link opens on the Update tab.
  3. Choose the domain from the dropdown. Use simplebooklet.com, or your own domain if you've added one.
  4. After the /, type the booklet path: the part of the link after the domain, such as spring-menu or sponsor-package.
  5. Click Save Link.

Once you save a new link, your old link stops working, and so do QR codes and embeds made from it. Update anywhere you've shared the old link.

How do I choose a good booklet path?

  • Keep it short and readable, such as annual-report-2026 rather than annualreport2026finalv3.
  • Use the words your readers would recognize, like your event, product or organization name.
  • Choose one you won't need to change, especially if you plan to print it on flyers, signs or packaging.

Use Transfer when you've made a new Simplebooklet to replace an old one, and you want the old link, and every QR code and embed made from it, to open the new one.

  1. Click the pencil icon beside your link, then click the Transfer tab.
  2. Under Select a Link, find the link you want. Search by link or Simplebooklet name.
  3. Select it, then click Transfer Link.

The booklet path from that link now opens this Simplebooklet. The Simplebooklet that had the link before switches to its default link, so anyone with the old link, QR code or embed now sees this one.

If you only need to update the content of a Simplebooklet, use Replace instead. It keeps the same link without moving anything. Learn more: Replace your Simplebooklet

How do I use my own domain?

On the Pro, Business and Enterprise plans, you can publish your Simplebooklet on your own domain, such as docs.yourcompany.com/spring-menu. Add your domain first, then choose it from the domain dropdown in Update Link. Learn more: Add a Custom Domain to your Simplebooklet
