How do I manage my Simplebooklet link?

Link Management lets you control where your Simplebooklet link takes readers and see where they came from. You can share a link to a specific page, choose the page readers see first, and add tracking codes to see which campaigns, emails or posts bring readers in. It's all in the Share tab, under your Simplebooklet link.

Available on all plans.

  1. On your Dashboard, click Share on your Simplebooklet. If you're already editing it, click Share in the top-right corner.
  2. Under Your link & access, click Link Management.
  3. Choose Share By Page, Set Start Page or Set Tracking URL.

The Link Management menu open, with an arrow pointing to the Link Management button.

Send readers straight to the page that matters, such as pricing, a sign-up form or a key section.

  1. Click Link Management, then Share By Page.
  2. In Open on page, choose the page.
  3. Click Copy to copy the link, or Open Booklet to check it.
  4. Click Done.

The page number is added to the end of your link. Your main link doesn't change.

How do I see which campaigns bring readers in?

Add a tracking code to your link for each place you share it, such as a newsletter, a LinkedIn post or a flyer, so you can see which one brings readers in.

  1. Click Link Management, then Set Tracking URL.
  2. Click Create tracking code.
  3. Enter a Tracking code, such as spring-email, and an optional Description, such as "Spring newsletter".
  4. Click Create tracking code. Your code appears in the list with its trackable link.
  5. Use that link in the campaign, email or post it's named for.
  6. Click Done.

Use one tracking code per channel, named so you'll recognize it later, such as linkedin-oct or open-house-flyer.

The Tracking Links window, with an arrow pointing to the copy button for a tracking code.

Next to Link Management, click Get Shortlink for a shorter version of your link that's easier to fit in a social post, a text message or a printed handout. Click Copy, then Done.

Common questions

What's the difference between Share By Page and Set Start Page?

Share By Page gives you a separate link that opens on one page. Set Start Page changes the page everyone sees first when they open your main link. Use Share By Page for one-off messages and Set Start Page when every reader should land on the same page.

No. Each tracking code gives you a separate, trackable version of your link. Your main link, QR code and embeds stay the same.

Click the pencil icon beside your link. Changing it stops the old link, and any QR codes made from it, from working. Learn more: Update Your Simplebooklet Link
