How do I change my Simplebooklet’s title?

You can change your Simplebooklet's title, and the organization name shown with it, from the top of the Share tab. A clear title tells readers what they're opening before they start reading, and it helps search engines and AI assistants understand what your document is about.

How do I change my Simplebooklet's title?


  1. On your Dashboard, click Share on your Simplebooklet. If you're already editing it, click Share in the top-right corner.
  2. Click the pencil icon next to your title at the top of the page. Title and Organization opens on the left.
  3. In Title, enter the name readers will see.
  4. Click Done.


Your new title shows anywhere your Simplebooklet appears, including your Dashboard and the reader's browser tab.

How do I change the organization name?


The organization name is shown alongside your Simplebooklet's title.


  • To use the name from your Simplebooklet account, turn on Use account settings.
  • To use a different name for this Simplebooklet only, turn off Use account settings and enter the name under Organization.


Click Done to save.



How do I write a good title?


  • Say what it is and who it's for, such as "2026 Sponsorship Packages" or "Spring Menu: Downtown Location", rather than a file name like "Final_v3".
  • Put the most important words first. Long titles get cut off in browser tabs and search results.
  • Use the words your readers would search for. That helps people find your Simplebooklet through search engines and AI assistants.



Where else does my title show up?


  • Email: it's the starting subject line when you send your Simplebooklet from the Share tab.
  • QR code print page: it's printed under your QR code.
  • Search engines: your title and organization help search engines index your Simplebooklet. To fine-tune what they show, see Optimize your Simplebooklet for Search Engines.
