How do I add my Simplebooklet to my Google Business Profile?

You can add your Simplebooklet to your Google Business Profile, so people who find your business on Google Maps and Search can open your menu, price list or brochure in one tap. Use your Simplebooklet link as your profile's menu link, and every time you update your Simplebooklet with Replace, your Google listing shows the latest version without any changes on Google.

Available on all plans. You need a claimed Google Business Profile, and the Menu URL field is only available for some business types. Check if yours qualifies in Google's help article on menus.

How do I add my Simplebooklet to my Google Business Profile?

  1. On your Dashboard, click Share on your Simplebooklet. If you're already editing it, click Share in the top-right corner.
  2. Under More ways to share, click Google Profile. Google Business Profile opens.
  3. Click Copy to copy your Simplebooklet link.
  4. Click Open Business Profile and sign in to your claimed Business Profile on Google.
  5. Go to Info, then Menu URL.
  6. Paste your link and click Apply.

Your Simplebooklet now opens from the menu link on your Google listing.

Make sure your Simplebooklet is set to Public Link or Link Only, so people who tap the link from Google can open it.

The Google Business Profile window, with an arrow pointing to Open Business Profile.

How do I keep my Google listing up to date?

Update your Simplebooklet with Replace. Replace swaps in your new file and keeps the same link, so your Google listing shows the new version straight away. You don't need to change anything on Google. Learn more: Replace your Simplebooklet

Don't change your Simplebooklet link after you add it to Google. Your Google listing would point to the old link, which stops working.

How do I see how many people open it from Google?

Opens from your Google listing count in your Reports. To see exactly how many readers come from Google, create a tracking link in Link Management, such as google-profile, and paste that link into your Menu URL instead. Learn more: How do I manage my Simplebooklet link?

Common questions

What if my business can't add a Menu URL?

Google only offers the Menu URL field for some business types. Use the Check if yours qualifies link in the Google Business Profile window to find out. If yours doesn't qualify, you can still share your Simplebooklet link in a post on your Business Profile.

What can I share this way besides a menu?

Anything a customer would look for on your listing, such as a price list, service guide, catalog or brochure.

Do I need to do this again when my menu changes?

No. Use Replace to update your Simplebooklet, and the same link keeps showing your latest menu.
